Secure and flexible payment

At Avelaro, you can pay for your order conveniently using various secure payment methods. The payment methods actually available for your order will be displayed during checkout.

Accepted payment methods

Depending on the device and availability, we offer the following payment methods:

• Google Pay

There is no entitlement to a specific payment method. The options displayed at checkout are binding.

Time of payment

The full order amount is generally authorized or charged upon completion of the order. For certain payment providers, the final charge may occur at a later time depending on their specific terms.

An order is only processed after payment has been successfully confirmed.

Prices and currency

All prices in our online shop are displayed in Swiss Francs (CHF).

The total amount shown in the checkout before the order is completed is the binding amount. This includes the value of the goods as well as any shipping costs and other transparently listed fees.

When using a foreign card or an account in a different currency, conversion or transaction fees may be charged by your bank or payment provider. Avelaro has no influence over these fees or the exchange rates used.

Payment security

Your payment information is transmitted via an encrypted connection to the respective payment service provider and processed securely.

Avelaro does not store full credit card or payment data. Payment processing is handled by the providers selected during checkout and is additionally subject to their respective terms and conditions and privacy policies.

Failed payments

If a payment is not completed successfully, please check:

• the payment details entered,
• the validity and balance of the payment method,
• any payment or security limits,
• the approval of the payment by your bank or payment provider.

If an amount was reserved despite the order not being confirmed, this is often a temporary authorization. The release of such a reservation is handled by the bank or payment provider and may take several business days.

If the problem persists, please use another payment method offered at checkout or contact your payment provider.

Order security checks

To protect our customers and prevent fraud, orders may be subject to automated or manual security checks.

In the event of discrepancies, we may request additional information to confirm the order. If a payment or order cannot be confirmed beyond doubt, we reserve the right to decline or cancel the order within the scope of the law. In such cases, any payments already received will be refunded.

Refunds

If a refund is approved by Avelaro or is legally required, it will generally be issued to the original payment method used.
